A typical day sailing from Sag Harbor looks something like this…
Board our private launch and arrive at Heron’s anchorage in style. After being welcomed aboard by crew and offered a glass of infused water, the captain will raise anchor and set sail. By now a glass of rosé is certainly in order, and we’ve got you covered. Shannon will discreetly ask the host if a swim is on the agenda, and will coordinate with the captain because now the most important thing in the world is weather lunch will be served before or after a dip in the sea.
While preferred by most, lunch doesn’t have to be onboard. If you fancy a visit to Sunset Beach, you have the option of Heron standing by and returning to Sag Harbor after, or you can disembarking on Shelter Island (this must be planned in advance). For the latter, guests can choose to have their vehicles brought from Sag Harbor to Sunset Beach via Main Street Drivers. This service is available upon request and can be orchestrated by Shannon at no additional cost. Or, simply Uber! We can also arrange for full transportation for up to 38 guests.
Directions & Parking
When parking in Sag Harbor, remember to park long term (unless parking after 5pm). There’s a long term lot on Division Street, a lot near the Breakwater Yacht Club, and one behind the post office. Our crew will meet you at the specified time (15 minutes before your charter time) on the Town Dock located behind the windmill, just across the parking lot from Bilboquet restaurant and near the water taxi stand.
